Medically prepared real human skull in case. Excellent condition

Medically prepared real human skull in excellent condition with a foam lined transport box. 

This is a great item. The skull is in excellent condition. The teeth are all present although the lower right second premolar has split and the upper right premolar is missing the crown. This probably all happened at the same time as they interlock quite tightly.

The bones of the skull are all in excellent condition. Interestingly, this skull seems to exhibit and enlarged frontal bone or "frontal bossing". When the cranium is removed, the frontal sinus appears unusually large. There are also two almost parallel scars on the right frontal.

Judging by the brass hooks and springs to articulate the skull, I would place this as a mid-20th Century example.
