Real human articulated foot bones antique medical specimen.

This is a nice example of antique, medically prepared real human foot bones. The bones were all strung together on old waxed thread to show the articulation. The bones are in pretty good condition with just a little crumbling in a couple of places where the bones have become friable over the years.

This one has a rich orange/ brown colour and looks like it had a coat of varnish a long time ago. This was a very common practice to help prevent the crumbling and it has yellowed over the years making the colour much more of a deep brown.

The colour and waxed thread show that this is an antique example from very early 20^th Century.
