Two real human scapulae, medical specimens.

These two scapulae had been used for studies and were amongst others which came with a collection of bones from a medical school. 

One has been coloured to show muscle attachments and the other has been annotated. Unsurprisingly, they have some damage from use but they also have a lovely deep colour and good patina that can only been gained over many years of being handled for studies.
